Live Facial Recognition

On Friday 17th July, Lewisham Central neighbourhood team officers conducted a Live Facial Recognition Operation on Lewisham High 

During the Op they were alerted to a Male who was wanted for possession of a firearm. Officers swiftly detained the male and during a struggle, a large sword fell from inside his shorts. 

The subject had only been shown wanted for less than 24 hours before being picked up by the LFR Cameras. 

A further 6 arrests were made through out the period of the operation for an arrange of offences.
